Here are three columns. Now, let’s move Excel column C into the first column position.
Select the area of column C and put your cursor on the line between columns B and C. A four-sided arrow appears.
Now you need to press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard.
Click and hold the left mouse button to drag the column into a new position.
