In general, the programs you installed are automatically added to the start menu, and then you can find and open them very quickly. But for some programs that won’t be automatically added, you may need to take some measures to pin them to the start menu. Here’s a simple guide in Windows 10.
1. Find the program (either in the desktop or in a folder), right-click it and choose Pin to Start in the menu.
2. Hit the Start button at the bottom-left corner of the screen. Now you can find the new added program on the right area, normally in the last place. And you can hit it to run the program directly.
3. If you don’t need to use it frequently anymore, and want to remove it from the start menu, you just need to right click the program icon, and select Unpin from Start. It will disappear immediately.
